Artist's Comments

...drain the blood, the heart is wise.

I'm actually doing this for a band. I just wanted to put it up because I actually took the time to look up the old renaissance medical drawings and do similar pen-and-ink to the anatomical study. The valves are almost anatomically correct, the vessels I had to take a little bit of artistic license with.

So go on. Tell me what you think.

You know...I was gonna say some amazing things...such as how well shaded the picture is, and how the level of detail is actually quite amazing...but now I'm not gonna!

See...it's really just that good..

Would you believe me if I explained to you the ways in which we shall all perish?

Funny how when you start out to say what you're not going to say, you end up saying it anyways.

great job on this... it really does look like one of the old medical book diagrams (which I have a morbid fascination with, therefore I love this piece!)
